Many of you have experienced the powerful educational effects of ultrasound images through my videos Ultrasound: "A Window to the Womb" & "Eyewitness to the Earliest Days of Life". Now your Pregnancy Care Center (PCC's) can provide a "window to the womb" to show mothers heart changing images of their own pre-born baby utilizing high resolution ultrasound imaging. To assist PCC's in obtaining ultrasound service, medical referrals and support of their clients, Sound Wave Images (SWI) has developed the 2007 Edition of "The Imaging Network Diagnostic Ultrasound Manual" and a three hour DVD and audio series "The Heart of the Mission... Leading the Way with Ultrasound."
The manual and DVD series provides information on how to establish and maintain a professional and effective ultrasound service for a Pregnancy Care Center. In addition, SWI has sponsored over 50 ultrasound classes for PCC's which are tailored specifically to provide health care professionals, directors and counselors with the basic skills and knowledge on which to build their ultrasound program.
To provide additional clinical experience for students that have already taken a short-term course, SWI is now adding a continuing education package. The Heart of the Mission will give you a flavor of the fun and intensity of the week. The series can also be used to provide information to the board and other staff members of the center so that you can network and plan your ideas together.
I am so blessed that God has given me the opportunity to instruct and share my knowledge of ultrasound so that Pregnancy Centers can effectively inform and care for the mothers. The students walk away from the week united as a family, with a sense of pride that the Lord has given them the knowledge and this powerful tool of ultrasound that can truly give life. Combine this with a deep compassion and love for the mothers, hearts and lives are being changed.
My thanks to the volunteers and supporters, nationwide, who are committed instruments used to bring love, compassion and hope to women in their local PCC's. I believe that the contribution of the PCC's unified with the medical professionals and community is God's open door that can begin the journey back from death to life, from pain to healing and from denial to purpose.
